How we get paid

VoltIQ is a flat-fee subscription platform. You pay us, retailers do not. That keeps our recommendations honest.

Upfront subscription, no commissions

VoltIQ charges a transparent monthly subscription based on the plan you choose. That fee is the only money we make from your account. We do not accept commissions, rebates, success fees, marketing payments or kickbacks from any electricity or gas retailer, ever.

What your subscription covers

Your subscription includes plan comparisons, bill parsing, interval data analysis, network tariff reviews, contract and tender tools, grants tracking and the AI assistant — all of the features in your tier. There are no per-comparison fees, no per-site fees and no "success fees" when you switch retailers.

Optional advisory work

If you ask us to run a complex engagement that sits outside your subscription tier — for example a managed tender for a very large portfolio — we will agree a fixed fee with you in writing before we start. We will never quietly add a retailer-paid commission on top.

Disclosure on every comparison

Every comparison and PDF report you generate is ranked on the merits of the offer for your usage profile. Because we don't take retailer commissions, ranking is never influenced by which retailer pays the most.

Retailer panel

We compare every major Australian retailer that serves your network area, including (without limitation) AGL, Origin, EnergyAustralia, Alinta, Shell Energy, Momentum, CovaU, Sumo, Powershop, Red Energy and Lumo. No retailer is excluded or down-ranked for commercial reasons.

Conflicts of interest

We are not owned by, and do not hold an equity interest in, any electricity retailer. If a conflict ever arises we will disclose it in writing before making a recommendation.
